The teachers at IICS are drawn from the same communities as the students as this enables both in understanding the contextual realities of the children and in the development of the community. This has also proven that the understand and mentor students at home, provide after-school support and conduct adult literacy programs in their respective villages if required. Teachers are a mix of graduates and post-graduates, and some hold additional degrees like Bachelor of Education or Diploma

While the teachers for the primary classes are "integrated teachers" who teach all subjects, the senior class teachers will be master teachers. Master teachers will be subject experts responsible for overall guidance, capacity building, and development of the curriculum.
